How to Speak English Clearly (Even If Your Pronunciation Is Not Good)
Do people say, “Sorry?” when you speak English?
Do you feel shy because your pronunciation is not good?
Don’t worry. Many learners feel the same. The good news is: you can speak more clearly with simple practice. You don’t need perfect pronunciation. You need clear and easy English.
1) Speak slowly
When you speak fast, words become unclear.
Speak slowly and open your mouth more.
Example:
✅ “My name is Nam.”
✅ “I live in Vietnam.”
2) Use short sentences
Short sentences are easy to say and easy to understand.
Example:
✅ “I like coffee.”
✅ “I go to work at 8.”
3) Repeat one sentence many times
Repetition helps your mouth learn English sounds.
Try this:
Say this 5 times:
✅ “I want to improve my English.”
4) Copy a simple dialogue (shadow practice)
Listen and copy the speaker.
This helps your rhythm and pronunciation.
